- Objective/Role: Redesign the landing page to engage and attract directors (management).
- Timeline: 1 week
Approach
Due to the tight timeline, I opted not to follow a specific UX framework for this project. Instead, I employed a traditional UX process for the redesign.
Research
To identify stakeholder needs and design requirements, I collected and analyzed all the data provided by Whitman Partners, as well as evaluated the existing UI of the landing page to identify the issues.
Findings
After analyzing all the data, I gathered several insights and findings that guided me in redesigning the landing page:
- The existing UI is overly simplistic and outdated
- The primary visitors to the website are directors.
- Avoid using images of nurses, stethoscopes, and doctors on the landing page.
- Implement a slider in the hero section to engage end users.
- With so much information on the landing page, it's important to organize it in a user-friendly way.
- Their services are divided into three main areas: finding jobs for directors, providing specialty consultants for the operating room, and community services.
Ideation and Re-Design
For the ideation phase, I started by creating a mood board. I created multiple mood boards with different color schemes to generate better ideas. After finalizing the mood boards, I moved directly to pen and paper to sketch the wireframes.
Final Design
I started designing in Figma, using the brand colors strategically to emphasize key UI elements. The design focuses on simplicity, making the information easy to see.
✨Learnings✨
- Gathering data and ongoing feedback from the product owner accelerated the process.
- It's important to remember that assumptions should never be taken for granted.
